Steer Davies Gleave worked with Sound Transit to develop their next generation mobile site. Using a responsive design, the Digital team worked closely with Sound Transit and their UX partners, Anthro-Tech, to prototype, test and build a new mobile and tablet website, including all back-end development work. The site provides transit real time, using smartphone features to make it easy to find your nearby stop and access live departures information, as well as a fully featured trip planner and schedules tool. Users can save their favorite stops and share trips via social media, as well as viewing all transit routes and stops via an interactive Bing map. Steer Davies Gleave used Sound Transit’s One Bus Away and Open Trip Planner APIs to power the site, which receives an average of over 1m monthly visitors.
